1. Q: What is a Inn?
A: An Inn is a lodging establishment in-between a Bed & Breakfast and a hotel. It has a slightly different feel than just staying at a hotel. An Inn usually has most of the same in-room amenities as a hotel. An Inn is usually bigger than a Bed & Breakfast and smaller than a hotel. The Davis House Inn offers guests a friendlier and more comfortable way to get away. With spacious accommodations, a view overlooking the Indian River, quality amenities and a relaxing atmosphere, you‘ll find the Davis House Inn simply irresistible.
2. Q: Will I feel like I am staying in someone's home?
A. Few may have that impression. At the Davis House all of our rooms have: private baths, self locking doors (AAA standards), TV's with cable, individual temperature controls. We offer complete privacy for our guests. Come and go as you please.
3. Q: Do the rooms have:
a hair dryer and bath amenities?
A: Yes.
irons and ironing boards?
A: Most do. If you need one let us know and we will place in your room for the duration of your visit.
phones?
A: No, most people preferred to use cell phone rather that pay hotel phone rates.
Wireless DSL or high speed Internet?
A: Yes. Your computer must have a wireless card. Service is available in most rooms. Due to the fire wall we do have some dead spots making good service not available in all rooms at all times. Please inquire prior to booking if this in an in room service you require.
Q: Stove?
A: No, we do not offer a full kitchen. You're on vacation, no need to cook. Several very good restaurants are nearby. All rooms have microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee maker.
4. Q: Do you have a swimming pool?
A: Sorry, no we do not. Sure wish we did for our hot summers.
We do have river access with a nice sandy beach.
5. Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Sorry, we are animal lovers, but cannot allow animals in the Inn.
6. Q: Is smoking permitted?
A: Smoking is not permitted in any guest rooms. Smoking is allowed outside only.
7. Q: Is there a minimum stay requirement?
A: Not always. We often have last minute changes, please call in case we have a one night opening in a room
8. Q: How far are you away from Captain Hiram’s, Riverfront Restaurants - Bars and other Sebastian Attractions?
A: Walking distance. Strolling along the waterfront is easy & safe with the lighted and paved sidewalk. Located across the Street from Squid Lips Restaurant & Fins Marina, 3 blocks North of Hiram‘s Resort; ¾ mile North of Earl’s Hideaway & 1 mile North or Mel Fisher’s Treasure Museum. 4 miles from Skydive Sebastian.
9. Q: How far are you away from Sebastian Inlet and the beaches?
A: It’s only a 15 minute drive to A1A and the Wabasso beach access. Heading North you will pass three additional FREE public beach access areas, Pelican Island Nature Preserve and The McLarty Treasure Museum before you get to Sebastian Inlet State Park.
10. Q: Do you serve a full breakfast?
A: No, we offer an in-room Continental Breakfast, fee additional. A coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator & microwave are provided in each room.
