in the early 1900’s the Davis family came by train from Arkansas to Florida to make a new life for themselves. They purchased this former orange grove property. The Davis family farmed the area around what is now known as Davis Street. Nearly a century ago, the Davis family discovered “life on the lagoon“. Now, we want you to discover the natural beauty of Sebastian and Davis House Inn, named in their honor.

Originally opened in 1991, The Davis House Inn, was patterned after the clubhouse at the Augusta National Golf Course, home of the U.S. Masters Tournament. Designed with covered porches wrapping all sides and floors of the main building guests are given every opportunity to take full advantage of the amazing views and the spectacular sunrises. This picturesque mansion exudes Old Southern Charm. Housing only 12 guest suites, you’ll find the conveniences of a hotel combined with the small town atmosphere of a Bed & Breakfast.

Hurricanes Frances & Jeanne touched Sebastian in 2004, and briefly shut down the Inn. In April of 2006, the Inn was sold. Once again, newcomers moved to Florida to make a home for themselves. With an equally fresh new style management, the Inn began to revitalize. One by one, the 400 square foot guest rooms began to metamorphosis. What once was plain, charming & clean, has become custom crafted, unique & themed. Surfers, palm trees, manatees, and other Florida favorites bring life to each of the rooms.

With two basic room styles to choose from, we think we‘ve included just about everything you need for a pleasant stay.

King Suites offer: 1 king-sized bed in partitioned bedroom area (most have small bedroom TV), seated living area with TV, private bath, blow dryer, table/desk with 2 chairs, kitchen area with: refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, dishes, cups, silverware.

Double Suites offer: 2 double beds in open floor plan, seated living area with TV, private bath, blow dryer, bar/desk with stools, kitchen area with: refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, dishes, cups, silverware.

                                              Wireless DSL on site. Outside patio furniture is plentiful.

                         All rooms have individual climate control units, ceiling fans, private entries.

                                           All rooms are Non Smoking Rooms. Pets are not permitted.

The Davis House Inn is managed in a non-invasive way to ensure our guests privacy. Our Innkeeper is onsite daily and is happy to assist guests on and as needed basis and is usually willing to chat a while.
